2016-2017 Hunting with Busse pics

Dang. Had to go as far as downloading their app to get a darn picture uploaded.

Anyways, here's my new favorite blade for carving up critters. Love how well the handle color matches the greens and browns of the birds.

Wow clamp daddy, that is an absolutely beautiful blade, it is amazing how well it matches the ducks.

This year...

...actually took about 16 does this year, but I generally don't take a pic of each one.

I wish we had all that stuff to hunt around here Andy. Perhaps I need to take up hunting in your neck of the woods.

I wish it were all just in my back yard.... ;) Though there are some deer in close to me (wild) I am on the edge of suburbia so hunting is out (allegedly we have a panther problem as well but the jury is out on that). The two main areas I hunt are 4hrs and 9hrs drive from home for me. The closer is where I grew up and each time I make the trip I do so realise how much I took living there for granted !!! In under and hour from my front door I could be in God's own country hunting deer, goats, hogs, rabbits or fishing for perch and trout .....damn I miss it there !!!!

This will be my third season as a newbie bowhunter. Year 1 was the Steak Knife, bottom.ScrapMax, top. Year 2 was the SYCO Elmax variant, #2. This year I plan to try out a Carothers EDC.

How did that scrapmax fare? Absolutely love mine but haven't skinned anything with it, although I'm sure the elmax would shine.

I envy you guys. I lost my hunting spot when they moved. This is the 2nd year I've had to live vicariously through other hunters.
