I love my Inkosi but not sure it's worth $450 to have one of 25 engraved blade show 2016. Now if it a larger model or something different sure...

If it was a nice UG that also would be different.... I would do a polished UG Inkosi

Was the e-mail from Blade or from CRK? Does CRK have an e-mail newsletter?

Not really sure why BLADE deserves a commemorative edition with premium pricing ..... but to each his own. I'm the kind of guy that immediately removes all dealer decals from a newly purchased vehicle. To me all that extra graphics takes away from the product and somehow cheapens it. Again, that's just my opinion.

I also take the stickers off immediately, like first day with the car, and that is only if they didn't listen and installed them in the first place.

I can tell you why they did this, extra $$$.

I prefer the way they used to do it, where they put away some really nice UG with inlay or something and sold those instead. Kind of like.. an excellent example of a Sebenza where lots of people will be there to put their hands on one. I only have one from a Blade Show (2013) and it's perfect.

I jumped on one... generally prefer larges, but wanted an excuse to get one, especially factory etched! + with only 25 made , some Inkosi collector will need one!

So other than this limited production 2016 Blade Show Inkosi, I wonder if CRK will introduce anything new at the Blade Show this year?
If any of you Blade Forum CRK fans go to the show but sure to report back to the rest of us.

Guess I'm identifying myself as a curmudgeon, but that graphic devalues the knife in my mind. I'm all for special editions, but porting the bladeshow logo into the CNC machine seems like a pretty weak effort to me. I'm a fan of all things CRK, but "must try harder next time" is how I'd rate this effort. Would work fine as a door prize or something.

Im with Volgrad and Kidcongo. Personally, i would never buy that Inkosi. I actually "cringed" when i saw the pic, and it wasnt a forced reaction.

I say come out with some Unique features, say diff colored thumbstuds with maybe a few of them carbon fiber scaled. Maybe have a half dozen or so with some slight milling grooves like in the LDC Sebenzas...stuff like that...easy to do too, but very limited and unique and would fetch a HUGE price and would stir everyone up/excitement. Id recognize "The Blade Show" on the Birthcard and thats it.

I'll play devils advocate here... The Blade show, as far as I know IS the industry show that ALL knife makers truly in the game must attend or show, so even though it's been years since I attended one, it was always a high point. It must mean something to some folks out there. 25 is a pretty small number, and although it may not be a big deal to CNC a scale, what else can you get in an Inkosi if you like them and already have one? Not disagreeing with what's been said above, just exploring the pro side , since most comments are negative.... It's not a unique Damascus of a new design, but......

That etched logo is quite unattractive. No thanks.

Ugh. Don't care for that plastered all over it. To each their own and what not.

I do the same thing, and I feel the same way about this.

I would not buy it. Even if it was the same price as a regular inkosi. Just a way to make extra revenue.
