2016 forum knife ordering thread - SOLD OUT

All too often just a lurker around here, too busy and don't have too much knowledge to contribute, or anything much interesting to say for that matter. But I do love the annual traditional forum knife. Been ordering every year since I discovered this spot in 2012, even on a couple occasions I was not a fan of the pattern. I always give it a chance just to do my small part in keeping this thing going. That and paying for my yearly GOLD membership are my small good forum deeds each year.

A few days ago, I hastily tried to purchase one in the middle of a work meeting. I got to the "order completed" screen and thought I was done, didn't realize I needed to hit place order at the bottom. I realized today that I had no paypal or order notification and luckily went back and caught my error!

Each year, I look forward to the BF knife more than any other knife. I don't post much, but I'm a sucker for traditions. :)
 
Ordered mine on 9/1, based on the original thread. Paypal not a problem, in fact preferred for me.

Long time BF guy here. I've recently been researching buying a traditional folder and after placing my order this morning, this will be my first. I really like the idea that it's a BF knife. It will serve to "commemorate" my years as a member here!! Very excited!!!

It has been two weeks now, and they are a little over half gone!!
If I remember, they are selling faster than last years knife!
 
I'm waiting on pictures of the actual scales. I hope they last long enough.

This is gonna be a keeper for sure, I use the awl on my Case Scout knife for so many different things this one on a single spring frame should feel so good in pocket. (Charlie, I'm halfway there, time to look under the sofa cushions again. ;) )

Hey Barry, I'm starting to get excited now and I'm thinking I might want to order a second knife once we start seeing more WIP pics. I placed my order on 9/1 for the first knife.

Are there any special instructions to follow for placing two separate orders weeks apart and shipping to the same address? I'm not concerned about saving any shipping costs. Just didn't want to make things any more complicated for you if I can help it.
