The swords gathered a lot of attention

I was amazed at how many people recognized the Mirabile

It was a big hit :)

People could not get over the Weight and it would blow their minds when I would tip it upside down and it would stay in the saya but with just a gentle nudge of my thumb it breaks free of the saya
 
I know the feeling

In the first video I'm dressed right from coming from an appointment in another city in NJ hence my fancy duds :)

Work does get in the way of life :)

The sword was commissioned for one of my daughters births years ago and it's a collaboration piece between Louis Mills and Rick Barret

From the Tamahagane that was forged from iron ore sand to the crazy fittings done in mokume and iron to the gold dust on the saya

I've been waiting to do a video on his piece but I did not want to ship it and this was a great opurtunity to see Coop

This piece really need pro shots

There will not be a cutting video because of the art polish but it was made to my specs and the Hartsfield I did the last video on is the exact same specs and the user of this pair so to speak

My son, Trevor (The Blade Runner) was out and about more than just a little bit. He was in everyone's face with his camera, and drew a smile. Here's Joe giving him a HIGH five!
