2016 Queen Dreams?

Quality Control/Consistency. I hope Queen/Schatt&Morgan becomes more consistent from knife to knife in each line.

I'm not sure. I was trying to remember when they released their 2015 lineup, and I can't remember. I'm hoping that it's soon because I've been on their site every day hoping to see an update. :o

me too, because ive been on a Schatt and Morgan frenzzyyyyy!

As i said in post 6, i have a recently made S&M Keystone Series Baby Sunfish with mammoth handles on it's way. I would like to see Mammoth used as a handle option with their Pen knives. This puts the price up by about $100, so the knives need to be well made to merit the price.
If you look around at some of the BF associated dealer sites you will see these mammoth handled Baby Sunfish knives (pattern #65 i think). There is some quite attractive mammoth.

i am digging their stag handles a lot lately, so i hope to see how this Mammoth comes out. Maybe some MoP in the future, cause they just made the shields for the blue bone barlows in MoP

I added one S&M Stag Barlow this fall and one right before Christmas, one Clip & one Spear. So those are my 2016 knives.

I love the Railsplitters so part of me is wanting something new there, smooth bone maybe. Then again part of me doesn't want to see it.

Hey Cory, my 2015 queen thread I started on Jan. 29th last year and that's when I noticed the catalog.....hopefully not long for this year's :D

Good call on that. I hadn't even thought of looking at the dates on last year's thread. So, hopefully we're within a couple weeks of seeing what's in store for the year.

 :D

I know this feeling well. You really wish for something but at the same time kind of hope it's not produced so that you can keep a little money in your pocket. :p

Oh, those cattle knives they made under the heritage series..... I never bought one because I had heard how rough they were. I'd really like one though.

Also, less tumbling on the blades. I like more crisp edges.

ah the heritage series, id wish theyd extend that clip blade just a bit on the heritage jack

Oh yeah, that's the ticket! I had one in Ebony and I miss it despite its rough around the edges construction. I would not be able to resist the purchase of an updated model with D2 steel.

Awesome suggestion!

Queen is consistently keeping me surprised and delighted with their offerings. I may not be as discerning as some others, but I like what I like. My main wish for Queen in 2016 would probably be a D2 sunfish in the "everyday" line. Curly maple sounds pretty good for scale material.

Oh, and how 'bout a 3-blade trapper with a wharncliffe? :p

Cory, I'm hoping(dreaming) for less wharncliff and more sheepsfoot, my dream is a big jack, D2 or ATS -34, with a long pinch able sheepsfoot behind a clip or spear point, with there wonderful winterbottom bone. If it's out there already I'm missing something then.
Respectfully, Chance.

I'd like to see runs of their 2 or 3 blade sowbellies with BG-42 and 154cm steel. On the two blade, I'd like a sheepfoot instead of the spey blade. And I'd like the nail nick on the clip blades to be placed here...

DON'T pinch or slant the bolsters. And a nice jigged bone like....

or

...and this shield...

cmon something coffin shaped, or a medium coke bottle without the copperhead bolsters

I'd love to see a cattle knife, equal-end, with a clip or spear, a sheepsfoot, and a punch, in stainless. Ebony or white bone covers, minimal bolster decoration, and a simple shield.

Did someone say a coffin jack!?!?!
I would also like to see some two blade offerings with secondary straight edge blades. GEC has really been doing good in this area lately. I just wish more manufacturers would get on board.

How about a five bladed sowbelly with a punch blade!! Heck, or one of their sowbelly whittlers (linerless 3 spring) with the standard clip main, coping or wharnie for one secondary, and punch on the other side. Be something different anyhow.

I'd definitely be on board for this. GEC's matching of spear and coping is perfection. :D

That I would like to see. I'd also be happy with a spear/punch combination on a single spring in D2. They've made them in stainless, but I'm very partial to their D2.

It's a great pattern, Rockon75! Highly recommend it!

I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on one of the moore makers with punch, no doubt made by QCC. I just am trying to dig myself out of the Christmas debt right now. Your version is 5he exact one I was talking about.
