2016 Sprint Runs?

Hey all,

What sprint runs are coming up from spyderco this year? In the latest catalog, they mention HAP40 Ladybug, Manbug, Dragonfly, and Stretch's, A carbon fiber Manix 2 & Millie, and an orange Rock salt.

Any clue when these might be coming, and if there's anything else you've heard whispers of? I was confused about the HAP40 knives because they did those last year, but I guess these are actually all ones that DIDNT get the HAP treatment already?

Put me down for three, please! [emoji16]
 
I don't know when any of the above are being released but I do know that the HAP40 Dragonfly and Stretch have been released. You can probably find a stretch but good luck finding a dragonfly.
 
Oddly enough, I've only seen the dragonfly for sale; never the stretch. And of course its the damn Endura that I really want.
 
The delica and dragonfly were massively popular and went pretty fast. If you search all the online knife stores and the exchange on here you might find an endura.

Only place that seems to have them is BentoBoxShop for 150, and, eh. I'm keeping my eye out, though.

Just want to stress to the mods that this isnt a WTB thread, I'm just wondering about 2016 sprints.
 
Check warriors and wonders for hap40. They got Dragonfly, Stretch,and Endura if your looking.
 
Knives plus still has dragonflys in hap40 as well but they are sold out on stretches
 
The Hap40 Enduras did drop at the end of last year but the HAP40 Delica dropped in January and the Stretch and Dragonfly since then. They consider them 2016 Sprint runs even though one came out last year.

The ones in the catalog are the only Sprint runs announced for this year but there are multiple dealer exclusives coming out and the random surprise sprint run or forum knife is always a possibility. I do not belive that we got any warning about either the 2015 Spyderco Forum Knife or the BBS Elmax Para2 so surprises are always coming.

BHQ has a Para2 coming. KWs has two Militaries and a Para2 coming. CS has a LW orange Manix coming and there are some other rumors of a CS exclusive.

It is hard to say when any of them will come. I wish I knew. The HAP40 Ladybug and Manbug should be soon since the rest have dropped.

Anyone know if we might see the new handled Chaparrals as sprint runs in 2016?
 
Chaparrals are not sprint runs. They have had problems with multiple materials and are still working on it is the last we heard. I hope to see something besides the ubiquitous g10, cf or Ti at some point. This knife was meant to showcase different handle materials.

Maybe that's because you haven't tried it yet. ;)
If you're liking the M4 on your new GB, chances are you'd really enjoy HAP40!





I'm still wondering if and when we'll ever see the Jester return as a Sprint, like was discussed last year...

Actually hoping more Sprints do not pop up randomly. I'll barely be able to swing the 52100 Military at this point! Yikes


Exclusives is a whole 'nutha story, too...
I'm keeping my eye out for a CS exclusive, and also one of the M4 Paramilitary 2's.
How do they expect me to buy and try any new models when I am busy saving for limited versions of current models!? :p

Tell me about it! Between the HAP40 endura, a few Mules, and the Manix i've been craving, I'm already hard up for cash! I try not to get multiple kinds of each model (I have so many I want, I cant justify doubling up yet), but some of these cool sprints are making me question that policy[emoji14]
