2016 Sprint Runs?

Chaparrals are not sprint runs. They have had problems with multiple materials and are still working on it is the last we heard

Thanks, bearfacedkiller...I love the Chaps and am also hoping for something interesting in the new offerings.

Maybe that's because you haven't tried it yet. ;)
If you're liking the M4 on your new GB, chances are you'd really enjoy HAP40!

I'm still wondering if and when we'll ever see the Jester return as a Sprint, like was discussed last year...

Actually hoping more Sprints do not pop up randomly. I'll barely be able to swing the 52100 Military at this point! Yikes

Exclusives is a whole 'nutha story, too...
I'm keeping my eye out for a CS exclusive, and also one of the M4 Paramilitary 2's.
How do they expect me to buy and try any new models when I am busy saving for limited versions of current models!? :p

Right, I probably would like it, but it's only on the Dragonfly and the Stretch. I realize these are just the first models, but I'm not really interested in the steel that much yet to submit to those patterns. Perhaps if it appears in other patterns I'll embrace it.

The Hap40 Enduras did drop at the end of last year but the HAP40 Delica dropped in January and the Stretch and Dragonfly since then. They consider them 2016 Sprint runs even though one came out last year.
The Hap40 Endura came out October/November of last year and the Hap40 Delica came out early December last year. This thread was started the first week of December 2015 and some people already had a Hap40 Delica: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1348195-Spyderco-HAP40-Thread?highlight=hap40

Approximate release dates (in stock at dealers) of the Lightweight HAP40/SUS 410 Burnt Orange FRN Sprint models:

  • Endura4: October 12, 2015
  • Delica4: December 1, 2015
  • Stretch: February 1, 2016
  • DragonFly2: March 1, 2016

I don't have the most experience with various steels, but HAP-40 is without question the best steel I have in terms of edge retention and edge restoration.

Are we Stretching out?
