During the 2nd release of these by Barry (Gunstock Jack) I was fortunate enough to get 4 of the BF Barlows at $135 each.
Barry contacted me during the purchasing process and made me confirm that my intent for these knives wasn't to flip them on the auction site. I assured him that was not my intent and explained that my intention for these knives was to present them as gifts to the groomsmen in an upcoming wedding. Only after he was convinced, he agreed to let me purchase 4 of them. Barry can back up every word of this story if needed. On a side note, I do appreciate the efforts that Barry goes through to keep the flipping of these knives to a minimum.
In any event, when I spoke to the groom yesterday, he let me know that he would prefer that the funds that were used towards these knives be put towards a "guys night out" instead - definitely not what I wanted to hear but it's his wedding I guess, so I will reluctantly do as he requested.
I am asking $148.94 for each knife via PayPal goods & services - the odd asking price breaks down as follows:
$135.00 - price I paid for each knife
$4.34 - PayPal Fees
$7.15 - USPS Flat Rate Box Shipping
$2.45 - USPS insurance in the amount of $150
I am only selling 3 of the 4 because I will be keeping one for myself. I am trying to keep my word to two different gentlemen here - to my friend who is getting married by contributing the money where he wants it to go, and also to Barry whom I gave my word that I would not flip these for profit.
The only thing I am trying to do is recoup what I paid for them with the additional amount going towards PayPal fees, shipping fees and insurance. I am not making a penny off the sale of these knives - I have attached the invoice below as well - my personal information has been removed.
All knives are BNIT and were only taken out for the below pictures.
