2017 Christmas Eve Gift Giveaway

This will be my eighth annual Christmas Eve gift give away.
Wishing everybody a wonderful Christmas!

Ed J

Let me first say that I am overwhelmed by Ed's generous giveaway that arrived last night. Thanks so much both for the knife and the new traditions I plan to pass on as well. Ed, your worries were unfounded. I have several sweetspots (as anyone who has watched me try to pass a doughnut shop will testify to) and you hit one of them dead center, Gentleman's knives.

For those who asked earlier at the awards ceremony, here are some photos of Ed J's most generous Christmas away.

For your drooling pleasure, may I present a Northwoods Norfolk. Northwoods knives being available only from Knives Ship Free I believe.

Slipjoint knife with 3.25" handle, 2 blades, Wharncliffe and a Penknife. 1095 carbon steel. Light Ebony scales, pinched & ringed nickel silver bolsters, and brass liners. It even came cradled in a leather moccasin style slip case. Apparently KSF has these made for them by GEC so that should say tons right there about the fit and finish of this little beauty. I will treasure this for many years to come. Thank you so much for the kind gift and the huge heart that provided it. I hope all have a very healthy, save and prosperous New Year!

Wow, that’s a great knife! Very kind of you Ed!

Congratulations Dan, classy knife, and a classy giveaway too :)

I always enjoy seeing the winner's reveal pictures on these giveaways; they are always better than the ones I take of the knife. I hope everybody enjoyed participating in the giveaway or the comments. I'm sorry I didn't get this on the board before the holiday, but, God willing, I'll make this year's Christmas Eve Gift on time, so that the winner can have the knife by Christmas Eve. Here's wishing each and everyone of you special people here in "Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades" a great year in 2018.

Ed J
