but the welding class date was pushed up, so, i can certainly drive up and hangout, but no campy campy. hate one day rain trips :D
 
my plans have changed too. going to have to work tonight. i'll see you guys in the morning.
 
Definitely not gonna be there-Mom died tonight and my pops is gonna need some company. Cheers everybody, chop something for me (and tell me all about the swag!)

Home safe and tired ..lol Thanks as always to Uncle Ethan, Kabar, the people in the NE who made it happen, and the people who came out. Got to meet a few new faces and hang out with a few familiar ones.
Always a blast. We will bring more bad card and or board games next time ..lol Cards against humanity was a ton of fun. Looking forward to seeing a few pics.

I was the other new guy. What a great bunch of people! Good people, good food and good times! The facility was great and the contests were fun. Thank you Kabar, Ethan, Trailbum and everybody else who attended. I had a great weekend and look forward to meeting you all again.

Well, to say that folks were welcoming would be an understatement. Makes it easy to fit right in. It is never a bad weekend when you make a bunch of new friends.

I will add that for those who, in the future, are thinking about attending this gathering that it really was an open arms type of environment. It took me all of an hour to feel like one of the gang. Since I rolled down solo that was amazing.

Jim, I was looking forward to meeting you. My condolences. :( I did get to play with one of your knives though. :) I am sending positive thoughts your way and hopefully we may meet in the fall.

I'm not much of a card/board game guy but damn cards against humanity friday night made my head hurt from laughing so hard so many times

And of course as always the food, and no disrespect to mention it last as its so tasty, lets just say you'll never go hungry at one of these :D
 
Amanda, Becker and I made it home safe last night around 10:30. In between trips to the woods to hopefully bag a Turkey or two I will do a write up with pics.

We had a great time. Even with all the rain the great conversation and outstanding food made up for being stuck inside.

I can't wait for the next one and a July mini gathering is in the works.

We were missing a few regulars due to school trips, but added a Bearfacedkiller and a Tpvt.
