2018 NORTHEAST BECKERHEAD SPRING GATHERING.
APRIL 20-22

What to expect.

Great people.

We will have Knives ,Fire, Food, and Drink.

There will be contests and workshops.




What do I need.


Bring whatever you need for the day or the weekend.

Knives.

Food, drink, camp chairs, hammocks, coolers, and such.

Trade items or whatever you want to show off.




There are a lot of great people here so come on up for the day or the whole weekend.

I know I'm on the list, but I figured I'd better check in and, ah....at least glance at what I've been missing. I'm happy to see Becker is on the list of people coming....I'm very much looking forward to seeing him.

if i get my tax return by then, maybe i can even have time to shop for a specialty target bow :D though i have no idea what i'm looking at yet in the market. fancy.
 
Are any of you in possession of 2 left (bolt head side) red full size scales from the last Gathering? I went to install them on one of my Machaxen and found that I had two righties...the BK4 is now sporting a Deadpool (or Harley Quinn) red+black color theme....
 
I ended up with a red set and a green set. I didn't end up with two lefts of the red but I haven't used my red scales yet and if you want them you can have them.

I did win a BK16 in a contest which came with two brown scales that were for the same side. I cannot remember right now which side I got but if anybody has a spare set of the brown tweener scales they do not want I would be very interested. I like them much better than the black ones.

I'll bring some scales for you - and I'll trade ya for the red ones. That works out good....
....it just struck me that maybe that was the "factory second" aspect of the swag Ka-Bar so generously donates: can't sell a set of scale if they're both the same side...;)
 
Sounds like a deal! I wondered if that wasn't the reason it was donated as well. I cannot find a fault in the knife though so I have no complaints. The 16 is a great knife. A superbly functional utilitarian blade shape with some good ergonomic handles. No wonder the 16 is the last man standing in the tweener lineup. I still like the 15 better but can totally see why the 16 is the one still available.

I am looking forward to seeing all you crazy fools again soon!
 
Anyone want to run a contest.

We still need breakfasts for Sat and Sun.
