2018 NORTHEAST BECKERHEADS SPRING GATHERING APRIL 20-22

Aaaahhhh......is what I plan to be saying this afternoon sometime. I've got some contest stuff and Saturday's dinner, along with the usual complement of toys. Trailbum: if I could borrow your UQ, that would be great. The good folks at HG busted one out and got mine in the mail for delivery Thursday, but - it ain't showed up yet. Still crossing my fingers for delivery before I leave, but...whatever. Certainly can't ruin a weekend hangin' with the Nor'easters. Everybody get there safe, and I'll see y'all real soon.
 
I packed my swimsuit and I plan on driving fast and taking chances. ;)

Should be on the road in 30 minutes!
 
oof - i've had a week. been exhausted and sleeping since last sunday, had some tailgating fun in the rain, snow, and sun the last two days, but kept it low key, as i was still sleeping 12+ hours a day.

not sure if it's a cold or flu and/or allergies, but i'm loaded with ranger candy and anti-histimines. hoping i can make saturday noonish to dinner - have a couple special things to show the crowd if i can, but i don't think i'll make an overnight. drat.

also, i hear it's SUPER COLD OUT up north ;)

I had outside plans today, but the weather is doing it's best PNW impersonation -- 47* and raining off and on in random 10-30 minute intervals.

What a great time.
We ate to much and enjoyed some nice weather.

Thank you Ethan for everything, as usual so very generous.

We had tomahawk throwing and tiny wood splitting along with air rifle contests.

Show and tell on some great knives and a lot of shootin the breeze.

I enjoyed (someone else's) great wedding out on the Cape, but wish I could have been in both places.

Good people, good food, good weather and good fun! Thanks to everybody who helped make this possible! I dropped the ball taking pics but look forward to seeing the pics that were taken.
