2019 Case/Bose collaboration knife

Too close to the Wilfred which left me less than impressed. It took me a couple tries to get an acceptable one and that one I had to dye the bone to my liking. I guess if the price is right and the reviews stellar, I may bite. I already have a couple of very satisfactory large trappers that I use and the Bose needs to be stellar for me to consider adding it.

If I had to have a jumbo trapper(definitely don't), I'd opt for the now cheaper Millennium Trapper...with equally useful blade shapes and build quality.

Maybe they thought we had forgotten all about that knife by now or that there was such a high demand for it that they'd have a second go at it??

With patterns, it's all swings&roundabouts. Some will be enthralled, others won't. A massive Trapper with a lanyard hole and Spey is not my cup of tea at all...;) far too big for my pocket. But a lot of people may thirsting for this one :)

Right, at 4” closed it’s much more pocket friendly than 4.5” but the double clip blades were redundant on that one. I prefer 2 different blades. (Sort of the same with the Cattle Knife. No idea why they went with 2 clips over having a spear main).

It’ll be interesting to see the comparison of the handle size to the Wilfred Lockback as those knives were simply huge.

As I understand it this is one of Mr. Boses' favorite patterns so in that vein I can understand the build.

This ones not for me either! A Barlow would have been a hit out of the park......
