I’m whooped! What a great time!
I always have such a great time at BeckerWest. Great friends, food, and fun!

I’d like to thank Ka-bar for sending us out an awesome box of swag for our contests. We appreciate it very much!!
I’d also like to thank Ethan Becker who without his wonderfully designed knives, none of this would be possible. Also a big shoutout to Noah who made a world class french toast breakfast and to Kyle who roasted big cow on a spit. Thanks to all the attendees who come out every year and make this such a memorable event.

Picked up the passenger bread in Portland.

Competition time!
First was fire making. One stick of wet firewood, one knife and a firesteel. This was a tough one. The wood was wet and knotty. It seemed like a good 10 minutes before flames started rolling.

Logan followed closely.

And I took third.

The 2nd contest was the tomahawk throw. Bill Siegle and Mack dominated this one. John came in third.

Next up was the BB gun competition. Each competitor lines up with another. The first to knock down 3 cans off the sawhorse advances to the next round.

Abrasion won followed by Kyle and Isiah

After that we did an impromptu slingshot competition. Nobody had ammo so we used pinecones. Haha.
KingMC won it!

TDHurl put everyone’s name in a hat and gave away an awesome Ka-bar Fighter. Very cool.

There was a lot of generosity given and received this weekend. I’m glad to be a part of it all!
