2019 GEC 93 Ram's Foot and Waynorth Cutlery Real Lambfoot Thread

I wonder if the texture of the jigged bone will be close to the Charlie CAMPAGNA Tidioute #15 Boys Knife (bail & chain), Dark Chestnut Peach Seed Jigged Bone

Or rather close to that of the Charlie Campagna Northfield UN-X-LD #48 Diamond Jack Chestnut Rogers Jigged Bone

Hoping for that Rodgers jigging!

If it's this Rodgers jigging, I might have a lot of hesitation when choosing between #93 Gabon Ebony or #93 Jigged Bone... I love the texture of the handle of my #48.

Rodgers jigging would make sense since Charlie Campagna drew inspiration from Joseph Rodgers' work for this #93 Lambfoot...

So I know I'm going to see this question come up time after time...and I know the comparison to the lambsfoot has been well discussed...but what is the difference between the ramsfoot and a sheepsfoot? It looks like a sheepsfoot to me :)

FYI they are making ~600 each of the 93 ramsfoot.
I believe Charlie mentioned somewhere in this thread, or elsewhere, that there would be ~300-350 of the jigged bone 93 SFO lambsfoot and ~200-250 of the ebony. I'll come back and edit this if I'm incorrect.

Sheepfoot blade = Spline of blade and cutting edge of blade are PARALLEL
Ramfoot blade per the picture shown = Spline of blade and cutting edge of blade Are Not Parallel with the point end of the blade being the widest part .

Thank you Harry! ...that is exactly what I was looking for. I see now the spine of the blade actually rises a little towards the tip and it is fatter there then the base of the blade :):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I don't know of an American made Lambsfoot. I did see a Winchester branded Lambsfoot but there was some speculation that it might have been fake.

I believe those were made in Japan, if memory serves.
