2021 discontinued models

Lots of cool stuff coming! Also, everyone keep in mind that a lot of these SKUs on the list are just certain variants of the SKU family. The entire family isn't necessarily being discontinued.

Good to hear Jimmy. My CS Grip is treating me well today.

The "BB" in the SKU is a "Blue Box" version for REI, no Hunt packaging.

Sorry, I am still new into this abbreviations - what does REI mean?

After all, you are discontinuing Crooked river in the blue box, but 15080-2 and 15085-2 in a Hunt box are staying, correct?

Recreational Equipment Incorporated. It’s a big hiking/cycling/ski/snowboard/climbing retailer. Similar to Bass Pro Shop or Gander Mountain without the hunting/fishing.

Thanks for jumping in!

So will my anthem still be under warranty... and if not is it possible to purchase an extra blade/bearings so I can continue using without worry of the future when warranty parts dry up?

That partially serrated Super Freek is tempting me! Does anyone have one? I'm wondering if I'll ever be able to keep M4 serrations sharp.

Yep your Anthem is still covered. We don't sell extra spare parts but should have extra components on hand for replacement for a while.

I for one couldn't pass up the KSF price on the Anthem and bought it this morning! I'm sorry to see the Saibu on the list as I've been thinking about getting one for a while, but not when I just paid for an Anthem.

As someone mentioned earlier....any chance this is just a wholesale steel upgrade? Maybe going from a base of S30V to 20CV, (or something else)?

Kind of makes sense to stay ahead of the curve. (I'm guessing the Hogue/Doug Ritter using 20CV could have lit a fire under them). On the other hand, I'm not sure that requires a re-numbering of the tried, and true, and well known product numbers.

Damn, there are a lot of models being discontinued! I was just on Blade HQ & was seeing a bunch of Benchmade's were listed as "Discontinued" & immediately headed here to find out what was going on. Glad I did.

Any chance that I can get my 570-1 Presidio II CF-Elite just replaced? The damn liners are bent, yes bent! It's causing my the blade to have horrible action & because of the flaw, the pivot backs out & clicks between scales & the pocket clip is wonky. I don't know how in the world that one was allowed to leave the shop but it was a huge miss on the part of QC. I like the knife, overall, I mean. Just not MY knife, because it's so messed up!

I sent it in for warranty repair, but got it back with the issue unfixed. It would seem that they just gave it an oil bath, replaced 2 body screws & the pocket clip & called it good. I am pretty frustrated with it, because I know it's not right. I removed one of the handle scales & could tell on sight that the liner was not straight by any means, so I put it back on & removed the other one & discovered the same thing: the liner slants inward toward the blade of the knife around the pivot (or outward towards the butt, I'm really not sure) & as a consequence the blade neither opens nor closes smoothly or with ease. It takes a strong flick or push of the thumb stud to open & a noticeable wrist movement to initiate closure even with the Axis bar pulled all the way back. It doesn't always close 100% either. It usually loses inertia & movement ceases at about 80% closure with the blade still outside of the handle.

Went ahead and grabbed the 555-1 before everyone ran out of inventory. Wavered on pulling the trigger at KSF (and then BHQ) and they were gone before I had the chance to commit. Surprised how quickly they are moving!

I just picked up the little Mini Coalition for a good price. My first auto. Never could bring myself to pull the trigger on the regular price. Looking forward to see what will be coming out in the future.

I'm surprised how fast the Saibu sold out. I expected I would have weeks to pick that one up but it sold out everywhere it was discounted in about a day. I ended up emailing DLT and they matched the price for me and got it from them.

I don't see the 101 follow up on this list, but BHQ had it listed as discontinued, and I can't find it on Benchmade's website. I always wanted one so I ordered it last night.

I always wonder what happened to all the 710’s out in the wild . It’s almost as if they’ve vanished into thin air

I've got an early 710 M2, paid $118.95, black coating, great steel that sharpens incredibly easy and holds it too. The 710's are out there, in M2, D2, 154cm, and other steels. People don't talk about 'em much... in many opinion's, the 710 is one of the finest knives Benchmade has ever produced. It is truly a beautiful and classic design.

When will your new products be announced ?
