I just received word of an upcoming #77 Yankee barlow thread. Apparently its been in the works since 2019 and is finally getting off the ground. I'm very excited for this run, and thought I'd get a specific thread going for this, feel free to post any pics of #77s past or present!
 
I wonder if they'll have a spearpoint or a clip, they had a clip last time if I'm remembering correctly.
 
I was lucky enough to have my phone in hand when the reservation came through, and I got one reserved fast. I like the red saw cut 77’s, but this olive wood and stag will be great too.

I’m sure when the knives are complete, the email will go out in order of reservations like last time, and you’ll have the option to choose between the two.

The question is, which one to go with? I’m thinking Olive Wood…

Hoping it’s going to have a match strike pull and would prefer a clip over spear blade. I’d love to see a sheepsfoot or Wharncliffe, though. Hopefully, it’s going to be a single blade. My first 77 Barlow, super excited!

I missed out on this one. Seems it was open for quite a while too. Excited to see what they look like. Hope they do a few tidi versions and make a ton of them. There will be a lot of demand here…

That actually happened to me with the #68 reserve. If your account on the site says reserved you should be in the clear
