2022 #77 Yankee Barlow thread

I have one on the way next week.

I was trying to trade knives for one on FB ,when I was offered one as a straight buy in the UK.

Generally I much prefer trading.

Then someone in the US said he would buy one of my trade knives for the same price as the Barlow would cost me so I could buy it.

What a stunning/kind gesture.

I wish someone from UK sell me a NF Barlow too, clip blade preferably, haha Just joking, for that's not likely.

It was lucky someone I traded with before offered it to me but didnt want a trade this time.

Trading is better, I much prefer it,then its less about money.

Problem is some people buy to collect, I want to use them,the price is the same either way

There are some good people on FB as well I have discovered.

I am sure if you keep an eye out one will turn up here you like.

After I bought it I was told its a bit special and was offered twice what I paid for it,I didnt have a clue I just liked it.

Thanks but I realy didnt know what I was doing or for that matter what's what,I had no idea what it was until Chas told me.
It was easy to spot the Barlows amongs the table of goodies,I should post a thread it was amazing
