I have a 39 Beaver Tail Horse Rancher incoming and wanted to start a thread to share photos and impressions. Let’s see those 39s!

I’ve been excited for this run, and I’m happy with the knives I’ve got so far, although the handle materials wouldn’t have been my first choice. These would’ve been great (in my opinion, of course) if they’d done them like a run of #15 boys knives — no shield, antique yellow and rust red jigged bone, ebony, Nifebrite, etc.

This SFO turned out nice.

Antique Yellow Smooth Camel bone 39’s were being worked on this past Thursday before the Rendezvous.

This is my all time favorite GEC release. I just need to soak this in and accept that my wallet is gonna be lightened

I posted this over in the GEC thread, it seams appropriate here as well.

The two knive across the top are vintage Cattaraugus single blade speys that were shown to Bill a few months ago. After examination he simply said to show them to Randy. Fast forward and we have a run of 39s with speys. The knives to either side are club knives produced off this run.

I tried to be good. I held back on so many runs this year, even skipped the rendezvous cause I knew if they ran 4 of my favorite patterns, rendezvous would be a big spend. Yet here I am, hook line and sinker on these 39s! I even had the crazy thought of driving to GEC yesterday night just to see the opening of the store. Good thing i was a 1/5 of a bottle of bourbon in and my brother borrowed my gps.
