whelp, that was a little bit of a rush, knew it wasn't gonna work out tho. Any one score?

I would turn that long spey into a Wharncliffe so fast it would make you dizzy! It would be the perfect EDC with the new blade combo.
Love to see photos afterwards. i was thinking of a bit off of the swedge, a bit off of the belly and, voila, a drop point!

I'm looking at the 39 Indian paint brush worm groove but confused about coloring, I have a 65 that is called Indian paint brush that is apple red, then was shown Indian paint brush from one of jim/jiki on a 53/54 that had red with yellow undertones like this but darker guess we will have to see when pictures drop in next while.

Think outside the box. The Indian uses many colors. Maybe didn't clean the brush? Maybe doing the Bob Ross "a little dab of this, a little dab of that" thing. 🥴

Indian paint brush is a flower with varying shades of red with yellow stamen. The knives variety in color is fairly accurate to its name sake.

Awesome! Explains alot. I was wondering where the name came from, a simple search would have fixed that! Lol.

I see a lot of Indian Paintbrush in the Sierra, and it ranges from orange to red to fuchsia. Here is a selection of shades seen in the Sierra; there are probably a lot of other shades elsewhere. BTW, some people are trying to change the name from Indian Paintbrush to just Paintbrush.
