It’s a nice cover, I just wish it was more sterile like the BF knives. We don’t need AAPK referenced three times on one knife.

Kind of have to agree there, the shield should have been left intact. Otherwise an imposing knife, but as with all things peoples' tastes vary- fortunately

Agreed just engraved at base of the blade with a clean blade face and clean shield would be nice.

Wish the yellow antique bone was kept more natural yellow bone. These look a lot like the oily creek bone version.

The Snakewood is tempting, but as I have a Cocobolo from the previous release (lovely knife) I will try for a bone option. Still wondering what shade of green the 'Winter Green' will transpire to be, as it's a first for GEC I think.

Excellent pix! I'm really looking forward to getting the Micarta, will make a great work-knife. I have the same Sabot Tonneau which gives a lot of blade for its handle. The finish is yes, a bit crude (I was told the stamping machines are very old and worn, hence the haphazard bolster work- but the pins are all flush ) and the fit is excellent, smooth action, no play. With use the knife gets a fine used look and is great in the hand-no sharp edges except the blade and French carbon works very well.

The Orleans shield with that micarta is very well matched on the Ramfoot, going to be epic
