I’ve got one of those in the way as well. Glad I held out for that version.I have an Antique Autumn Smooth Bone en route. I held off on the Tidioute release hoping there would be a Northfield with a .22 shield. I feel fortunate to have gotten one. I suspect they’ll go fairly quick compared to the earlier releases. The Stags look great as well.
Even if it doesn’t happen with every release, it’s refreshing to think that you can hold out on a GEC.I’ve got one of those in the way as well. Glad I held out for that version.
They chamfered the edges on the original run of 22s as well. I think it adds a nice touch.Interesting. Judging by that picture, they rounded the contouring on bolsters.

Same here. First time in years I saw an email before they were sold out. Got the next to last one. Got an email saying it would be delivered tomorrow.I have an Antique Autumn Smooth Bone en route. I think the wharncliff makes more sense for this knife, but the clip looks better!?

My one and only is a clip point. It just looked right to me. Same with the orange sawcut bone.A small wharncliffe can be handy, but I think the clip point fit the pattern better.
