The flat/beveled bolsters on the Northfield Bullet are a nice touch. I like the lighter-than-expected color of the bone on mine, and if you look closely, there’s just a faint hint of sawcut texture to it.

Great photo of your 22 Barrett . I just paid for mine , just like your's , a few minutes ago . Is it crazy to very much look forward to getting a knife that I expect to only carry a very few times and most likely to never use ????

That might be considered "bad" if it makes it uncomfortable to actually use a knife as a knife. But from collector's point of view you basically have two different knives to exhibit. The point here (and, basically, everywhere else) is to think about the bright side.

You really scored with this one. My fear with a knife that size is that you would lose half of the bark at the bolster transition, but you have bark end to end, and pretty nice bark at that.
Thank you. We all seem to be held hostage to the luck of the draw. They even balanced the color on both sides.

Just received mine this morning . At least I was able to get a choice of what was still available when they dropped . The Stag is not too bad overall . The Mark side has a Deep Groove and it runs all the way to the bolster .

The Pile side does have some depth to it but much of the Transitions have the Stag definition removed.

Pull is about right for a small knife I guess . Snap is good . Blade is sharp and also centered and everything is very clean . The Color is what I wanted . All edges that you would feel are smooth . Stag Cover thickness is very close on each side .
This is not a knife that will get much work but it does get me to my goal of XX of Northfield Stags and is also a Model that I did not have . I will carry it today just because .
