2025 Reboot - Winter is Coming! Time to break out your favorite jackets!

timeless super cool there.....

Thanks bud. Used to have a huge amount of vintage jackets, vests and also reproductions. I’m now down to a “manageable” number. Definitely easier to store and maintain knives. Like this hobby, there are forums and people that go full bore with their knowledge & collections.

Are you on TFL or VLJ ?

I was given this jacket as a Christmas gift from some good friends:

A shirt/jacket style is pretty popular in the cowboy world. Kinda works well for what we do. This is made by Victory. It's a melton wool exterior with a thin polar tech fleece on the inside. It punches above its weight warmth wise. I've done quite a bit of tractoring in it and I appreciate the extra length for sitting on that cold seat. Wide enough in the back to fit over the cantle of my saddle when I ride.

Kinda funny because I have three other shirt/jacs. Two light weight ones and a medium weight wool one that I've posted in this thread before pg 2 post #31. I was looking for a little heavier one and Had spent quite a bit of time looking for one with no success. I open the box Christmas morning and go "How did they know?"

I do like variety. Here are two I think you will like. I also have too many of these same jackets in canvas and denim. Love’em.

Nice color on the top one.
The diamond quilted padding isn't my thing, but I do appreciate it being different from the normal boring ( only because there's millions of them) black cross zip.
