Thanks Greg :Dang, Harry, I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to ya before you slipped out. Was good to see you again.
You picked up some nice knives there, I was especially impressed with the stag whittler.![]()
I am pretty sure our friend Barrettbtb01 won't disappoint us.
No problem Barrett, thanks for the room picture. Looks like it was a real good crowd. I do hope to make it to the Badger show some year. Great find on that OKCA club knife. See you in Eugene in less than 2 weeks.I’m sorry to say that I also did a poor job taking pictures this year. I didn’t even get the usual knife-and-beer pic at our favorite Irish pub we go to for dinner every year.Having realized my failure this morning, I did snap a quick pic of the Saturday crowd.
Thank you my friend . The moment I saw that knife , I knew that I had to have it !!!! I would hope to see you next year at the show . It will most likely be my last year . Consider yourself to be invited to our breakfast at the Cracker Barrel before the show starts too .No problem Barrett, thanks for the room picture. Looks like it was a real good crowd. HarryOld Engineer , sorry you didn't find what you were looking for. However, very nice pickups on the three black box Winchesters, especially the 3 blade stag.

It definitely gets busy on Saturdays, and it’s a tight space to begin with. I feel like the Badger show could benefit from a larger space, but they also seem to have a good deal going with the hotel/convention center, so I can understand why they might be hesitant to make a change. (And I have to admit, being able to stay at the same hotel where the show is being held is pretty convenient, as well.)
I do at least have some knife pics to share. I picked these three up fromLastRodeo — thanks again, Mike! This checked off three GEC patterns that I didn’t have, so I’d definitely call that a win.

I found this little Ulster at the show yesterday.

Just before we left this morning, on my last pass through the room, I happened to find this. It’s a 1982 club knife for the Oregon Knife Collector’s Association made by custom knifemaker Jim Corrado. The description on the OKCA club knife archive says “Corrado Silver folder - Sherwood engraved.” (I assume Sherwood is another individual, but I haven’t been able to find a first name.) This was a cool find for me, because I’ve been going to the OKCA show for the last few years, and will be heading there again in a couple weeks. Kind of funny to find this knife at a show in Wisconsin.

As always, the Badger show was a great time. Seeing old friends and meeting new ones, sitting around and talking knives, searching the tables and knife rolls for something good, then enjoying some good food and a few beverages — what more can you ask for?![]()
