21" Giant's EDC Knife $165

I have a weird taste in knives, so sometimes I make weird knives. This might be one of those knives...

I can't really tell you how I came to choose this design, though it does bear loose resemblance to others I have made. I could make another one in the future, but honestly who knows? It is well balanced for it's size and can easily accommodate two hands. It is made of .15625" 1084 tempered to around 60HRC and handled with Black Walnut and pinned with brass. The overall length is 21" with a 13" blade.

What grind did you use? What's the spine thickness? And how sharp you reckon that is?

It is a strong, but narrow appleseed edge with a spine thickness of 0.15625 inches (5/32") and it is pretty dang sharp. It certainly passes the "shave an arm and slice a receipt" test.
