Ok maybe I'm stretching it a little:) Here's a new one I just finished. I found the blade in a Black Powder/Knife shop a while back and couldn't resist it.I haven't done a "kit" blade in about 10 years. It is a little too thick at 1/4 to be authentic so I stayed with that line and added G10 scales and brass pins. It's real wide but still feels pretty good. I used to long for a knife like this when I was doing the Mountain Man thing.I may just have to gather up some leather for it. Haven't sewn in a while too. Anyway I just thought I'd share:) Let me know whatcha think.

actually that's a 6in ruler. The blade is about 7.25 from tip to handle. This is one of the few dagger designs that actually makes a descent work knife. I used to see them made where one edge was left unsharpened for safety but I couldn't resist two edges. I might have to watch Last of the Mohicans tonight:D
