Here's a new model I am working on. I call it the Huntsman EDC 3.75.
This is a stout EDC blade for people who like to pry with, baton, or otherwise abuse their personal carry knife. However, it also has great edge geometry and will cut very will. It was taken down to .008 before sharpening and is not simply a sharpened pry bar. In addition to this, I had the 3V hardened to 62. At this hardness the edge retention jumps through the roof and is still tougher than anything you will ever need. This knife will cut for a long time and is made for work.
I love how this knife feels in hand. It has full sized handle while also being compact enough to comfortably carry. It also has a fully skeletonized tang so its very light.
Heres the Specs
Steel CPM 3V @ 62RC
Length- 8.0
Blade- 3.75
Thickness .22
Handles- canvas micarta
Fasteners- stainless tubes, sealed with G flex
Sheath- Kydex
Grind- very slight hollow, appears flat.
Finish- stonewashed.
Tang- Fully skeletonized
This knife comes with a lifetime warranty against any and all damage or breakage that may occur during use. If you break it, I will replace it and pay for shipping both ways.
Asking $225 Now SOLD shipped for this workhorse of an EDC. Absolutely giving this knife away at this price. PM me or email me at huntsmanknifeco AT gmail DOT com
There are a few small flaws on this knife and I am offering it at a lower price because of them.
1.) I scratched the very bottom of the bevel when sharpening. It can be seen in the pictures below.
2.) The front flared tube ended up flaring a little wider than the rest.
3.) The plunges are not completely perfect because I added the small choil after grinding the bevels.
4.) The sheath has a scratch.
5.) A few grit marks can be seen under the stonewashed finish in the right light. high hardness 3V does not finish well even with Trizact belts.

Heres the scratch. DOH.
Sheath and the scratch on it.
