I got my range ammo today, 1000 rds of sellier and belloit 55gr and as I was filling my ammo can, i came to the realization the .223 is a very small light round, I havnt shot much .223 in recent years and I always remember it being a bigger round, when you put 1000 of them in a .50cal ammo can they look so tiny!

On another note though no primer sealent suprisingly, must be a new thing for them.

I simply reload 90% of my range/practice ammo in all calibers including 223. I use a Dillon 1050 and it is simple to load 1000 rounds in an hour. Of course with some of the calibers I shoot it is mandatory to reload as there are no sources of commercial ammo for them, such is the life of a wildcatter.

What is available to me locally is WWB and S & B. They are decent target ammo and price is okay. Made an order for some American Eagle tactical black box and Federal brown box which is essentially the same ammo as those were on sale via an Internet vendor. With prices going higher and higher, I'm trying to find decent ammo at a decent price and just sit on it.

Sportsmans Guide has some great deals if you spend the $25 and join their club, and if you are just stocking up, they will split it into 4 payments at no charge which is awesome!!
