Great question John, now that I think about it the KABAR is a lovely smooth knife that's nice to hold and look at but I've never once thought quick grab the KABAR I need to skin that goat I just shot, or I'm going to be really greasey today changing wheel bearings, I'll take the spanner knife to cut bearing boxes open. I always grab an esee and don't think about it. So I guess that says I think of the KABAR as a bit of a novelty. I'm not saying it's not capable, it's just how I feel about it. I wouldn't sell it. I really like it. It just has its place in my knife trays and that's usually where it stays.Dan. How does that KABAR compare to your ESSEs??
