This is what I take with me when working most days. The fixed blade gets swapped out now and then but it's usually an ESEE of some sort. I've attached a video of my knipex 140 pliers cutting rope. I'm always impressed how sharp the cutter edge is even after a lot of use.

The hammer and gloves are just for a delicate job that needs doing to a bore pump tonight 😁.
