Sturnus vulgaris John, the common starling. These birds are a pest so much so snipers were used on the south Australia boarder to try and stop the spread of this crop wrecking lice spreading horror. They flock in there thousands and feed on fruit and sprouting crops. This time of year they pair up and make messy nests in sheds and roof gutters. They are smart birds and accurate long shots are needed for this fast little bird. I use my Model 2E BRNO with Winchester Power Points for 75+ metre shots.Ok. What did you shoot??

Nice combo. It's a hot Australian day and the snakes are looking for a cooler place to be. Only a month ago one made it inside to the veranda and it killed one of the dogs who was defending it's cool spot.
I have these two today.
