Thought I'd try this pair today. The straight edge and spear point worked well shredding a bit of cardboard together.

I have zero knowledge of traditional knives but I know that lionsteel looks amazing! You have good taste in knives cobber.

Yeah, the Lionsteel is Italian made and the handle is ram's horn, light and strong and as you pointed out quite attractive. It was a joint design effort with Mike Latham of Collector Knives and he called the blade an Otnat. Which is Tanto spelled backward.
Getting close to harvest over there isn't it? How's this years newly planted trees doing?

Yes the nuts will drop soon. Maybe in 4 weeks.
Most of the trees are growing well some has suffered from our unusually high rainfall we had a couple of weeks of over 100mm and that was too much.

Wow, that is a lot of water. Hope the harvest is abundant.
