Today's carry makes me realize the value of a SAK classic, or a small Leatherman like the Squirt. It means you can simultaneously carry one of the other brand! I was thinking when I got my first SAK, the Moomin Camper, that I was loving it, the only problem was not being able to justify carrying that AND a LM, without giving up a pocket knife. But today, this is what I will carry out. Been using the small SAK all day and I love it.

It could be even better...

Since you're carrying other knives, you don't necessarily need the one on the classic, right? If you can bear to part with the little SD fingernail file too, then for the exact same size and thickness of the Classic, you could carry a Jetsetter instead. The Jetsetter has scissors and a small magnetic phillips driver. The little magnetic phillips driver is obscenely good. It's able to fit a stupidly wide range of screws.

If you want the phillips driver but you can't let go of the other tools, then you could carry a Rambler. It's got all the same tools as a Classic SD + the phillips driver. It's only slightly thicker than a Classic, and it also fixes one of the Classic's biggest design flaws. On a Classic, the knife opens towards the key ring, which can then allow it (or anything attached to it) to get in the way while you're trying to cut something. On the Rambler, the knife opens on the opposite side from the key ring, which prevents it from being your way.

Good morning, great combinations posted guys.
Here's two I've carried at the same time just because I thought they look good together.
Once I have a SAK in my pocket everything else is pretty much just gravy. :)

I tell ya this, these are both ultra-sharp knives.:thumbsup:
The Mcusta is a wonderful knife, well built and was one of the sharpest knives I've ever seen, right out of the box.
I dig this pouch...

Do you carry a 10 gauge magnum, 3.5" 12 gauge magnum, or dynamite to send any sn ... sn ... "legless lizards" of all kinds that cross your path back to H ... ummm ... the hot place ... where they belong?

If you get rid of those satanic legless lizard things you'll have more yummy squirrel, rabbit, quail, wild turkey, pheasant, and deer during those open seasons. 😁
