Maybe a Limey, but not a fool.
Unfortunately, the Yanks in Sacramento (the capital of California) have made it legal to carry a concealed folder only when it's closed. Once the blade is open, it's no longer legal to concealed. As to a sheathed knife that's carried openly, an open folder and an open fixed blade are treated the same, and it's not so easy to carry one here (still easier than in Britain, however).
