hard to say but it looks like a strider, cord wrap handle
He also gives her the Microtech Halo she uses to stick the badguy in the leg

I haven't seen last season. Is it the same HALO he took off the guy in season 1? In the premier of season 5 he does a pretty cool move and takes out a bad guy. I think he uses the HALO.
