Has anyone come up with a way to use 24V motors for their equipment?
I see many of them at low prices, but only know how to use 90V motors.
Thanks,

A friend was trying to figure a way to make knives in the evening, during camping trips with his wife. I suggested a 12V DC motor. He could power it with his vehicles electrical system, and run a grinder with it. I don't think he ever tried this, but if you go camping with military surplus vehicles(they use 24V systems), maybe this would work for you.
I really don't know. Possibly a transformer would allow you to use shop voltage, and you could get some use from it.
I guess the 24V motors are used a lot in go-carts and the like. They seem pretty common and less expensive, but that is probably because the are not much good for anything else.
Now that is a hardcore addict. Can't even go camping without wanting to grind!
