Saw this today at work and poked around looking at their Beckers, got home to seriously shop and everything jumped up $10....guess I'll hold off and see what happens

That sucks, I was going to pick up a knife or two... I personally can understand trying to minimize losses while bringing in me customers since my family has had a business for over 40 years. That being said, I can also see when a mistake is made and corrected and those that got lucky did just that, they got lucky.

It isn't a shady business practice, but when money is tight and a few dollars are the difference between getting one or two knives for the same price, that can be a deciding factor.


I may not be making a purchase today, but I do like what your array of products and I will do business with you in the future.

Edit: I still like your prices and I will take another look when I get out of work, I still may get something
 
We had a pricing algorithm error. However, we honored the prices that were posted in error. If there is a particular item you are interested in, we might be able to do a better price that what is listed.

I had trouble ordering and had to register again with a different email. I do think the order went through at a higher price but haven't received confirmation yet. If you are honoring the $35 price though I'd like to modify the order and get 2 of the Ka-Bar BK15. LMK :)

Don't hold your breath.
I have sent an email- No Response,
Tried contacting through the web page "ticket"- No Response,
And finally, I have posted here, watched for 2 days as the knife (BK15) was still in stock and as you can see-
NO RESPONSE!!

Above, midwestblade stated they would sell the BK15 for $35, not true. I did buy one, thinking an honest dealer would contact a customer and refund the extra paid, NOT at midwestblade. (even though I tried to contact them 3 different way's, before AND after I sent the payment to make sure I was at least able to get one as I have been wanting one for a while, but it was NOT at the price quoted to members of Bladeforums as stated above for $35, yes, it was higher and not honoring the price quoted, I have not heard from them at all).

Stick to the known honest dealers here and you will get a better price, even with no discount, you will get customer service, which there seems to be no one minding this store and best of all, no worry of dishonesty. I have never had any problem with any of the other sponsors or even the individual sellers, they will contact you, respond to questions, email tracking when shipped, and no one else has EVER charged MORE for an item than they quoted.

I am NOT bashing or slamming this company. Everything said is the truth, being true, it is not bashing, only speaking truth. Truth can not be changed. Truth is Truth, It is what it IS and glad I found out now rather than later.
