25 straight years at Blade!

Tried to grab a few pics of the custom lottery before it started. It was crowded up there! Apologize for the "quick and dirty" pics.

Tried to keep track of everyone who walked away from the table, but it just couldn't be done! The hellfire's were definitely something special, I've never seen one in person til today. Also met a buddy who I had been chatting with online who had a killer XM-24 hellfire...not sure I've even seen a picture or one of those. Very sweet stuff! Looking forward to tomorrow as well :thumbup:
 
Yeah I would have loved to see one!! Sounds like it was a very cool day!

Looks like there was a custom Eklipse on the table too!
 
I know the custom lotteries are only on Friday and Saturday, but will Hinderer be holding the text lottery for regular production knives each hour on Sunday? I'd just like a plain old stonewashed 3" slicer for a keeper if I got the chance but don't know if these will still be around on Sunday. Sorry if I'm confused here.

Someone else might know for sure but I believe it's only Friday & Saturday as well.

How did the lottery today work? Fill out your name on a card at the beginning of the day with your phone number and then go about your business and wait for a surprise text?

Yep and check your phone every five minutes because there's no way you can hear your phone in the crowds. I actually had checked my phone and then checked it two minutes later and there was a text saying I'd won.

Got it at 5:09 and it said I had till 5:10 to show up at the booth. So...I...was........a runnin'

The cell service was horrible in there because of all the people I guess.

Lol my fear this whole time has been poor cell service or delayed messages due to congestion. I'd have been like Home Alone running through the airport.

Yeah you'll get it but it takes a while. They had already gone through two folks by the time I got there and they skipped a bunch because they weren't there.
