#25 Watch Pocket Barlow

For me, the Beerlow was a low point in 25-pattern knives.

This version seems about perfect.

My 25 is floating somewhere in the flotsam and jetsam of holiday mail, thank goodness it is stainless.

sf fanatic sf fanatic your knife is about perfect for a marrow bone!

Off to a good start with these! I’m also hunting a blue sawcut. Pretty much perfect action and fit & finish.

I'm also pretty excited for my 25 to arrive.

I have wanted a 25 for some time, but was wholly disappointed by the beerlow 25s-- so I kept waiting.

This will be a few firsts for me, first 25, first marrow bone and first staless GEC.

Thanks for the thread.

Mine is out for delivery today. I'm home doing chores and am very curious to see the bone on mine. It's great seeing photos of some that have been delivered already.

Follow-up report... it just arrived. Cute as a button, this is my shortest handled GEC by half an inch.

The color is awesome on mine-- the 'soupiness' is minimal, with no veining but I love it anyhow.

It has overall good W&T out of the tube with great action and snap, except from half stop to open. I'm sure there are some burrs or grit that will clear up with cycling and flushing.

I find the size completely endearing. We'll see how I feel in the long run, as I don't have many tiny knives. Is it just the honeymoon phase? Time, carry, and use will tell.

My only smaller knives are a couple Spyderco Jesters and a Ladybug, but they all have fobs. I also have a Spyderco Subway Bowie which is a fixed blade with the same overall length as the 25.

Cheers and Happy New Year to all!

Congrats on your score! But the general rule here on the Porch is that if there are no pics it doesn’t exist so… don’t leave us hanging 😜🙏
