I forged this damascus a while ago. It is 256 layers and before I forged in the bevels, I ground some grooves in it in order to make a bit of a sunburst pattern. I decided to polish the damascus instead of leaving it with high contrast between the different steels. It looks cool and gives the blade "movement" as it catches the light in different ways.

The handle is desert ironwood, and it is secured in place with peened pins and G-flex epoxy. The handle is sculpted to fit the hand quite well.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather. The leather is from Wickett and Craig and the knife slides in nicely and holds securely.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 7 7/8"

Price - $255 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Guys I've had the pleasure of seeing one of Matt's knives up close; his work is top notch. Not to mention incredible value for money.

My Bailey is proudly displayed on my mantle, along with a few other treasured favorites. Nice Halloween score!
