26" HI Sirupati on Ebay

Hey, thanks for the heads up! The seller is in Hawaii, too. So anything won could just be delivered to my mother-in-law's place :D

Problem as always is . . . where do I find the capital?
:(

MOOO-HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAaaaaa.....!!!

:D

The inlay and checkering on the handle got to me. Debt IS good. :)

I wonder who made it? I didn't ask...

Auction closed, high bid $50, highest bidder is a - PGEEZER(?)

21"Sirupati and 31" Kobra end 6PM Pacific time 3/08/03. Highest either has gone yet is $51.05

No money, no room (sigh) :(

Besides good ole Philthy could use something from Hawaii in the middle of all that snow :D

BK,

Tell you what: work on finding the money. I'll be happy to store either of the other sirus for you for a couple of years. Just trying to help, you understand!

Mahalo nui loa! :)

Maybe if he sends it in a big enough box, I could stamp 'Return To Sender" on it and crawl in... ;)

Did they re-open Hanauma Bay yet?

Such a good Samaritan, Aardy. But you do realize that means you have to move to Hawaii. :D

Philthy, it's been so long since I've been to Hanauma. I'm the wrong guy to ask. But last I heard they close the bay to tour buses for most of the week. I remember in the old days riding my bike from Honolulu (took over two hours) to go camping there. It used to be so deserted, they used it as the site for Elvis' grass shack in "Blue Hawaii".

It's good they turned it into a marine park, though. I know my homies. They would have emptied the bay of anything edible including the coral.

Out of morbid curiousity, I asked the seller about the kami marks on the remaining sirus, and this is his response:

Joe,

I packaged both Khukuris already but based on the pictures
and my recollection the 21"'s has a 5 pointed star and the
31"'s has what looks like the Star of David.

So, I am assuming that both were made by Kumar (not knowing any kami with a 5-pointed star), if his memeory serves him well.
