I have to say it, I love swords. At my max, I had about 60+ swords in my house. When I got into bladesmithing, my goal immediately became "Get good enough to do a sword". well, while practicing making longer blades, I sorta disassociated myself into making this (I call it "Zen Knifemaking lol). I knew it handled like something I had held before, but I really had no idea what I had made. I was stumped and just called it a "fantasy hunting sword" until people here on bladeforums pointed out the similarities between this and and several Latin American fighting blades and I finally knew what I had made. I tweeked the guard, sharpened it up, and put it through a few drills designed for the type of blades pointed out to me and *Voila* here we are.

Made from 1084 and tempered to around 60HRC, this sword is handled with partially scorched bloodwood and pinned with brass. the steel is 1/8th inch stock with an OAL of 26" with a 20"blade.
