27 MOABMS... Who's Got EM

Hi so I'm the second owner of a MOABM, but I'm not sure if it counts in this list.

Its is the only .410 FBM that is not marked "X of 27." It was made for the previous owner in honor of his father's passing on April 10th (4/10). He apparently was not able to make it to the show where the MOABMs were sold, but asked Jerry to make this for him. Black n' Blue G10 magnum grips. From what he said, he needed to sell this for medical bills. It came to me with the wrapping paper and sleeve, all with writing from the factory.

So the 27 are the only .410s FBMs...except for this one, which is unique....so do I have one of the rarest Mistresses ever made?

From what I heard, this is true. Except, they were offered in a ganzaa style offering, not a show. And not 1 of 27 but a custom with the same specs. Congrats!!

AH! Thank you! I wasn't sure about the show part, and I just re-read my PMs with Nawlins (from whom I bought it), and he mentions it not being from "the Ganza." Just remembered incorrectly, and thanks for clarifying! I'll correct my post.

Meanwhile I also sent a note off to the folks at Busse asking if they could provide a note of verification. I'll post it here if/when they respond.

It definitely isn't the only one without a number. Mine was ordered completely sterile, not just numberless.

Ah, cool, #4. This one was custom ordered outside of the 1 through 27 Ganza knives...its the 28th.

Got a response from Shaley at Busse...she asked for some photos to verify. They sure are fast there.

There we go...

He is correct that knife is from a true custom order and not the Ganza.

Hey great thanks Shaley. Is there any way you can confirm that this one was not part of the 1 of 27? The original owner said he'd ordered it as a favor from Jerry, not part of the Ganza run of 27...

That is for sure a MOABM! Enjoy your new knife!

Thank you,

So much for making "only 27"....

So the guys with knives marked "1 of 27" get them changed to "1 of 28" now?

LOL no no, this doesn't diminish from the Ganza run. Nobody can take that away from ya. ;)

Mine is sterile anyway, no skin off my ass. Just makes a "limited" run, not so limited when anyone can just order one. Kind of defeats the whole idea, doesn't it?

No, sorry check out my original post...Jerry did this for Nawlin's, as a personal favor, in honor of his father's death, right around the Ganza offering. Its specifically because his dad died on 4/10, and the thickness is .410.

This was not a normal custom order, and they're not taking orders for them. If you ask, they'll say no. Just call this one an honorable mention.

BTW...when I said, "its the only one without 1 of 27" on it, my point wasn't "I have the only one that isn't marked!" Sterile blades aren't my thing...I was just under the impression all 27 were marked as such. The point was that it wasn't part of the 1 of 27 run.

Tyrade,

how did you get snakeskin scales?
and how did you get them on a moabm?
and how did you bypass the 2 yr custom shop wait time?
and, uhm
are you a wizard?
does Jerry or Garth owe you a life debt?

Tyrade,

how did you get snakeskin scales? A snake gave them to me after I beat it in a game of hockey
and how did you get them on a moabm? I had to buy them a few drinks to loosen them up
and how did you bypass the 2 yr custom shop wait time? An ancient ritual involving pig blood, JWB, jumper cables and duct tape
and, uhm
are you a wizard? Yes
does Jerry or Garth owe you a life debt? I once saved Jerry from a drunken, rabid grizzly skunk by tying it's shoelaces together

*none of this is true. I swapped the scales off of a CGFBM myself :D

Hot damn, that looks great Tyrade!
