I've always really liked my adamas, but from the get go I though it could benefit from a regrind. I was browsing Razor Edge Knive's thread the other day and spotted a reground adamas that looked phenomenal. This got me thinking: how else could an adamas regrind look? I started drawing some concepts and after looking at my collection for ideas it hit me: a tanto adamas. My cqc-7 provided the inspiration for the tanto style. However, this would be a symmetrical V-grind, not chisel ground.

I don't know if I'll ever get it done, but let me know what you guys think. Any tips/pointers on the styling would be greatly appreciated!

Thats a great idea. You plan on doing yourself or sending it off? I'm fine with the grind on the adamas but this would be slick.

Yup, that would look good on an Adamas. I say go for it! And don't forget to post the after pics.

Great idea, if your not going to try it yourself give Josh a call. Very easy to deal with and excellent at regrinds.

I believe Josh could handle that pretty easily. I am not a tanto fan generally, but that looks pretty nice. The only problem I think you would have with the Adamas is that once you grind away a significant portion of the blade to get the shape you want then the already large handle is going to to look even more massive by comparison.
