290mm Sujihiki Blue #2 SOLD

Hello everybody,

I have got a new knife for sale here today.

OAL: 430mm
Blade length: from the handle 290mm
Height at the heel: 36mm
Thickness: above the heel about 2.2mm/ in the middle about 1.9mm/ 6cm from the tip about 1.1mm

The blade was forged to final thickness.

Steel: Blue #2 with wrought iron cladding (not stainless)
Hrc: 62-63
Hand sanded to 1500 grit. Etched to show the subtle patterns of the wrought iron.

Handle: 3 pieces of oak with different orientation. This oak was reclaimed from a 300 year old barn in Switzerland.
Finished with 2 coats of Tung oil and a final coat of a mixture of beeswax and carnauba wax.

I went for a real archaic look with this one. I hope you guys like it.
