293 Inertia - Well Liked?

I bought one not to long ago. I would be a nice knife but mine came dull and off center. When I seen that I fooled with it for awhile and it still wasn't right so it just sits in the box now.

Bucks' warrantee is legendary. If there is something wrong with your knife, send it direct to Buck with a brief description of what is wrong and they will either repair or replace it.
Stuff happens.

You should send it to Buck for repair. I've sent 3 knives back and now they are great.

You just have to pay shipping to them, not back.

Just ignore the Buck Defenders, they can't seem to help themselves.

ok I'm lost. I'm not following......who are you posting at?

on topic......it's a decent knife for an assisted. i like mine.

If you don't like the Buck defenders you're on the wrong forum...

I was concerned about the liner lock, not my favorite, but when I saw how far to the opposite side of center it locked at made me more comfortable... It's my EDC for now and I'm always messing with it without any problems with centering, get loose, or locking up solid.... I recommend it...

If you're having a problem send it to Buck since it's sitting in a box, you'll never miss it until it comes back better than new...

I have never heard of a knife becoming dull by its self? You had to be using it to cut stuff...

They were posting at me.
I'm very well aware of how good the warranty is and how to use it but that takes extra money and time I don't have at this moment. The OP ask what ppl thought about the knife so I told him my experience. That's all.

Uve never had a knife come dull? Lucky u but this one musta slipped past QC. if I cut something with it I would of told u I did. The OP asked an option and I gave it. Yall need to get off my back with the "captain saveabuck" routine.
I have never bashed anyone or company on this forum, I gave an option that's it and that's all and don't appreciate being told what I did and didn't do. Thanks and have a good morning

It gets old. Up until this point I've never had to personally deal with it but I do see it day in and day out all over this forum. I usually get good info and responses cause I adhere to the read more post less mantra :Do_O.... hope u have a good morning.

I did wanna apologize to the OP for throwing his thread off so much with my rants and apologize for going off. Anyone who has seen me post knows I don't do that. Just misdirected frustration:oops::oops::mad::thumbsdown::(. Please continue to offer up good info to the OP.

Most of what I said wasn't toward you? No I have never had a knife fresh from Buck that was dull... I don't think anyone was on your back, most of what I said was toward the OP?

Really like mine,I have the walmart version that doesn't have the holes ...came crazy sharp believe it or not, its holding a decent edge...the only thing I don't care for is the safety mechanism, I may remove it????

I wouldn't do that. it's there for a reason. the spring is pretty touchy on the few I have. try carrying it for awhile not used and see if it's too touchy before you remove it. just to be sure. course in the end it's your knife, but I'd test it for awhile before I'd remove it.
