I am new to the knife world but have gotten some good info from this site.
My question today is about 2a’s Knives
a company located in Oklahoma City.
Has anyone on here have experience with this company and their knives?

Thanking all responders in advance.

Looks like pakistani pot metal knives. I'd avoid.

Also they are not a vendor here.

Also what's this, "good info" you got? I don't see any good info from them. Which makes me think your from A2 knives shillin.

I think he is saying he got good info, in general, from this site; not that he got good info about 2A’s Knives from this site.
Ah gotcha. I guess he's just new then. Yea that's not a vendor here and likely imported all those knives from pakistan mostly. Which are not good knives but show pieces you put on a wall or something. Not worth the costs or time getting any of that stuff..

Not to mention hand made damascus is far more expensive than what they suggest. They also don't heat treat well at all for most of these super cheap damascus knives made out of what's laying around at the time.

Check out the vendors that support this forum. for the most part, you'll find some nice knives.

They are made in Pakistan knives and no matter how pretty you think they are they are not worth money or time. When I say they might be pot metal and not heat treated I'm not exaggerating. Knives made in China are going to be better than Pakistan. I don't buy wall hangers and that's all they could be.

I think he's saying that he has gotten good advice from our site in the past, but not necessarily about this place in particular. Now he is asking for opinions about this particular place, hoping, based on previous good experience, that someone will steer him in the right direction.

It's not that hard...

And I could be wrong...

Yeah, what LawandGuns said.

Guess maybe I should learn to read. Or spend some time working on retention ...

As stated earlier this site ( Bladeforums) has been a good source for knife information. I should have made that clear in my statement. Like I said I’m just getting into knife collecting and trying to keep my mistakes at a minimum. I have a couple of Randall knives and several from SC custom knife makers. I also bought a few off of eBay,
a Tom McLuin and one made from a file that appears to be a nice knife.
I thank all of you for the replies and I will be back with additional questions.

Based on sample views of their products on the internet, 2A in Oklahoma City is not a company that I would find myself doing business with. I agree with previous posters, Pakistani wall-hangers, and not worth the prices being asked.

In general, good knives are not cheap, and cheap knives are not good. All men are created equal. Damascus is not afforded the same privilege. It has to cut to be a knife. If it won't, it's a paperweight shaped like a knife. Buyer beware...
