2K Giveaway

I'll probably sit down tomorrow morning after I've had my coffee and gotten my eyes to focus and let you all know who won. In the meantime, the contest is still open until midnight tonight in case there's anyone out there who still hasn't taken part.

Hey, thanks for the contest. My whole family are life members. My daughter was born at 6:00 a.m. and she was signed up as a Jr. Life member at 9:00 a.m. (NRA rep asked her age--I said three hours ;-).

My last four digits off The Rifleman (can't find card) are: 2548.

Thanks again for running the contest!

We have a winner!

The winning number is 4014, which makes cgmblade the proud owner of a new Beretta Loveless drop-point hunter. I'll head on over to the post office with it in a little while once things have warmed up a little.

Lest anyone think there was any favoritism involved here (I did sell cgmblade his membership), I feel the need to mention that the winning number was selected three weeks ago, long before I had ever heard from him. This was purely luck.

Congratulations, cgmblade, and thanks to everyone for participating. I hope you continue supporting the NRA.

WOW!!! Thank you so much. I can't remember the last time I won something. This is fantastic. That Beretta Loveless Hunter is a great knife and I love the Quince.

Thank you Samael for the contest, but more importantly thank you for prompting me to renew my membership to the NRA. If it weren't for that organization our gun & knife rights would be non-existent. I won't let my membership lapse again.

Thanks :)

Congrats CQMBLADE!!!
Thanks Samael for a great giveaway and for the membership help.

Congratulations cqmblade! That's a great knife. Thanks for the giveaway Samael. It was very generous of you.

Thanks for the giveaway Samael.

There was a box sitting on my doorstep when I got home this afternoon. I used my Sage 2 to open the box and after digging through some crumpled newspaper and opening the smaller Baretta box inside I laid my eyes on one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen.

I've still got a big grin on my face. Without question this Baretta Loveless Drop Point Hunter is the nicest, highest quality fixed blade knife I own. Simply in terms of beauty and artistry it is the nicest knife I have period.

The blade is 5mm thick where it enters the handle and about 3.75" long. The grip feels like it was custom made for my hand. I'm not an expert on leather sheaths, but this one looks mighty fine to me and it fits the knife like a glove. It was made in Seki japan.

I can't thank Samael enough for the opportunity to win such a great knife. I don't know what he was thinking when he decided to offer this beauty.

Below are some pictures for those who aren't familiar w/ this knife. The blade has such a mirror polish on it that it reflects everything from leaves high up in the trees above it to clouds and my own ugly mug. These pictures are the best out of what I took. Hopefully it'll give you a good idea of what an exceptional knife this really is.
