Starting tomorrow (2/23) at 5PM PST I will be posting some of my very, very best stabilized blocks here in the exchange for a 2 day sale. A lot of the blocks are cut double sized so they could work for huge handled fighters or maybe 2 or 3 normal knives. All of the blocks will be posted at reduced prices for the 2 day sale.

UPDATE
Scroll down to post #67 for a better look at these after cleanup.

If you will make a post here stating that you will at least return to see what is listed in the sale you can have an additional 20% off the sale prices. This way you get killer prices and I get the piece of mind knowing a lot of you guys will at least come back to look. I will be closing this thread at tomorrow (2/23) at 5PM PST when the sale starts. The extra 20% discount will be only for those who posted here before then. Even if you miss out on the extra discount, there will be really good prices.

I enjoy having a sale but this one is important.
I have overspent buying wood and getting it stabilized. A little under 100lbs showed up today and there is still a lot more coming in the next couple weeks. Plus I have over 100lbs cut up that I would like to send to K&G to be stabilized. My Boss lets me do my own thing with the condition that I have more money coming in than going out. I am a bit out of balance right now and my boss comes back from vacation at the end of the month.

Here are photos of some of the pieces I am getting ready for the sale. They don't look like much right now because I am still getting them sanded and cleaned up so I can take real photos. You can see from the photos most of the blocks are really big pieces. Calling some of these Masters or Exhibition Grade would be an understatement. You'll see tomorrow.

Thanks in advance for all your help making this sale a Win/Win situation for both of us.

Those of you who have used wood from me before please feel free to say something good about me in your post. That way those who have never used Burl Source wood will know that I sell some pretty good stuff sometimes. If you want to say something bad about me, you can do that too. But you won't get a discount because you will be cut off.

These photos are some of the wood rough sanded with a layer of dust and yuk. Kind of like looking at a forged piece of damascus. You can get an idea, but that's about all. Tomorrow's photos will show the blocks sanded to 220 so you can see what you are really getting.

Some of the woods are; Black & White Ebony, Heirloom Redwood Burl, Spalted Maple Burl, Spalted Curly Maple, Buckeye Burl and some Flawless Maple Burl.

I don't really need anything right now, but Mark always has good stuff so I'll be looking for sure.

I'll be back tomorrow.
I haven't bought from you yet, because I'm always too late for the really nice stuff. But I'll be looking tomorrow.

Honestly, I've stopped buying wood from anyone else... Mark's stuff is Just. That. Good.

His service is Just. That. Good.

Can't wait to see what you've got in store, but I'm loving the look of that Black&White Ebony already.
